The action that MFA will take when the retention period expires is to remove items permanently (don’t allow them to be recovered). Wait for sometime, those SyncIssues posts will show up soon. I think a couple of other people in the office are having the same problem. The last error was on October 18th and have not happened since then. Check This Out

I can't possibly work with ONLINE mode instead of cache mode because it takes forever to load bigger folders. but will wait a while in the hope MS issues a fix. You can only see these items when you are offline or using Cached Exchange Mode and you cannot view them from any other computer.
