When I try to open the messages I get a error that says "there was an error opening this message". I searched my entire hard disk and could not find any folder for mail back nor did find any file with *.csv extention.   • Which has nothing to do with OE and after this on every attempt to open an email or address book it says "there was an error opening this message".

I gave it a try yesterday but I finally gave up on that also. It is only with O.E. More than likely, the problem with the message not wanting to display, has something to do with a setting or perhaps corruption in the program.

Outlook express is ancient as is XP. I reinstalled the outlook several times but this did not help. Is it possible to use the WIndows XP disc to do a repair and get what I need to get over this problem?
