Anyway I tried to create a link, but starting ooo failed with another and another library, so I didn't continue after the [email protected],Thanks for the info. After I have given the options in the pop-up and click finish, nothing appears neither writer nor calc. very frustrating.

I've following your instruction here and everything ok but … But now can not open docx files -> become opened by Archiver Can open doc but have loose format on some In any case, sorry for the noise. This is quick guide to install Apache OpenOffice 4.1.2 on Fedora 24/23/22/21/20/19/18/17/16/15/14/13/12, CentOS 7.2/6.8, Red Hat (RHEL) 7.2/6.8 with using Apache OpenOffice original RPM packages. We will open a task to look into it and we'll decide if we include this solution on our Alfresco products. Just hit this issue myself, and this sorted it. So you could try to install yum package with following command (assuming that you are using CentOS 5): rpm -Uvh Then try to use yum again, does it work?

It would be helpful if your image has this solution of stopping the service after a few minutes and then restarting it. It was working good for about 3 hours a them poooof... Now everything works great. I wondering if there's any problem if I make a translation of your manual to spanish, with the steps that I used for the instalation based in your guide?

So maybe yum uses yum.conf but preupgrade does not? You can find more information here: We will include a Validation in our installers to check if those libraries are missing.
